+ Can I visit your facility and meet your dogs before placing a reservation fee or picking my new puppy?

Our "facility" is our home. All our puppies are raised here and cared for by our family. We are not a pet store with business hours open to the public, so we currently only allow visits from those on our waiting list who are coming on scheduled visitation days to pick up their new puppy. The majority of our dogs live in guardian homes; therefore, they are not always at our home to be seen. Our mom dogs are usually present during our pick out days; however, they may or may not be available to be seen when coming to pick up your puppy at 8 weeks. Mom dogs may have gone home by the time your puppy is to be picked up. For the safety of our dogs and young puppies as well as our family, we do not allow tours of our home.

+ Are Golden Doodles Hypoallergenic?

Technically, no dog is "hypoallergenic" as some people can be allergic to things other than fur like a dog's saliva or urine. Doodles have allergy-friendly properties, making them suitable for individuals who suffer from mild to moderate pet allergies. If you or someone in your home has severe allergies, we recommend additional testing before deciding to get on our waiting list.

+ Do Golden Doodles shed?

Our Doodles are low, non-shedding. We cannot guarantee any dog to be hypoallergenic or non-shedding as each coat can vary, although shedding in our adult Doodles is generally very mild. F1Bs, F2Bs, and Multigens will typically shed less (if any) than an F1 or an F2 and these dogs are recommended for those with allergies/concerns about excessive shedding.

+ What is the difference between F1, F2, F1B, etc?

We currently only work with F1B, F1BB, F2B, and Mulit-Gen Doodles. Coat type will vary no matter what generation and breed of Doodle you choose. Typically, an F1 pairing will produce straight & wavy coats. F1B pairings typically produce wavy & curly coats. F2B and Multi-Gen pairings will typically produce straight, wavy, and curly coats.

An F1 Doodle puppy is a result of two different purebred parent dogs.

An F1B Doodle puppy is a result of an F1 Doodle parent and a purebred Poodle.

An F1bb puppy is a result of an F1B Doodle parent and a purebred Poodle.

An F2 Doodle puppy is a result of an F1 Doodle and an F1 Doodle.

An F2B Doodle puppy is the result of an F1 Doodle parent and an F1B Doodle parent.

A Multi-Gen Doodle puppy is the result of an F1B or higher gen parent and an F1B or higher gen parent.

+ What sizes do you work with?

We currently work with primarily standard, medium and mini doodles.

Our Standard Doodles are generally 40+ pounds at maturity.

Our Medium Doodles are generally 25-40 pounds at maturity.

Our Mini Doodles are generally 15-25 pounds at maturity.

Please note that we cannot guarantee adult weight and/or height at maturity

+ Are your dogs health tested?

The health of our sires and dams is pivotal to our breeding program. All of our parent dogs are health tested or in the process of completing their health testing. Each of our dogs undergo physical examination before and after each breeding to ensure they are at their best to sire/dam and new litter.

+ Are certain generations of doodles healthier than others?

To put it simply, puppies are only as healthy as their parents, no matter the generation, no matter the breed! A Multigen, F1B, F2B, etc. will not have any more health issues simply because of their generation. Issues can arise in any puppy if their parents come from poor quality lines, have structural issues, or have not been screened for breed-specific diseases. A Multigen line for instance in a relatively new breed still has so much gene diversity than your average purebred dog who may have had inbreeding or disease in their lines for hundreds of years. Any disease we are not able to test for is out of our control although we take each of our dog’s lineage and health into account before planning out our litters. Diseases known to commonly affect our breeds would be Hip Dysplasia, Canine Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Von Willebrand Disease (VWD), etc. Some diseases, like Hip Dysplasia can be brought on by environmental factors rather than genetics.

+ Do Doodles enjoy being outdoors?

Yes! The majority of our Doodles go to active families who enjoy outdoor activities together. Our Doodles love simple walks around the block, trips to the beach, camping trips they love it all.

+ Where are you located/what if I'm out of state?

We are located in Jacksonville, Florida. Not from here? No worries! We offer hand delivery via flight nanny all throughout the U.S. starting at $500 (depending on location and time of year). Our flight nannies bring your puppy on the plane as a carry-on (being cared for the entire time) and will meet you at your nearest airport with your new furry family member. We also offer ground shipping. We often have delivery routes for each litter.

+ How does your waiting list/choosing my puppy work?

We compile our waiting list in reservation fee order as we are unable to guarantee how many puppies we will have in each litter. A $500 reservation fee will secure your spot in line. Once on our list you will gain exclusive access to updates via our private Facebook wait list group. Here everyone will see daily photo and video updates, watch our live Q&A chats and receive litter announcements and any updates that may pertain to current or upcoming litters. You may choose to pick from the available pick spot once puppies are born and are 3-4 weeks old or opt to wait for another opportunity. By passing on a litter you will not forfeit your original waitlist placement and will continue to move closer to the top of the list. Puppy selections within each litter typically start once they have reached 3-4 weeks of age as this allows us ample time to secure homes for any puppies that may not be spoken for at the time. We will provide photos and videos prior to picking each Monday. Picking your puppy will happen at a private FaceTime call or if we can accommodate local families in person vistis will be arranged. Puppy pick days have very limited in person slots available as multiple families in the home while mom is still nursing can bring added stress to her and affect her milk supply. We update photos and videos at a minimum of every 7-10 days and because of this we do not take individual requests for photos.

+ What is the wait time for a puppy?

Generally, the wait time for a puppy is about 4-6 months after you place your reservation fee. Your wait time could be shorter or longer depending on mother nature and when our moms go into heat; it's not always consistent. Please note that our litters are generally spoken for well before they are born. We always encourage families to join the waitlist as soon as possible so they can be in the best position to pick their perfect puppy!

+ Boarding

We make every attempt to be as accommodating as possible, and can keep your puppy for a period beyond the normal pick-up date if the need arises. There is a $50/day boarding fee for every week after the puppies are available to be picked up, starting on the first day. This covers the cost of food, any supplies needed, and time spent caring for/socializing your puppy. We will board your puppy for up to 2 weeks past the pickup or delivery date (if available) and must be discussed prior.

We also offer year round exclusive boarding to our past puppy families only for just $50 a day. Your doodle is only crated at bedtime if requested by the family and enjoy free range of our home, pool and large yard. These spots fill up fast so email us to see if your dates are available!

+ Returns

Occasionally, circumstances change, or a puppy does not work out in his or her new home for various reasons. In these or other similar situations, we are more than happy to take the puppy or adult dog back until a new home can be found. We do not offer refunds past the 3-day mark after the puppy has gone to their new home and exchanges can only be made within our specifically defined time frame noted in our purchase contract.

+ Breeding Rights

Each puppy will be sold on a strict spay/neuter contract. Breeding rights are available to small, approved breeders. Please contact us about breeding right pricing.
